Now it’s time to visit Deception Island

Deception Island

Deception Island, part of the South Shetland Islands, is a dormant volcano. As part of the caldera (rim) has collapsed, it is possible to sail through a narrow opening called Neptune’s Bellows into the middle of the island. A walk across the caldera is something to always remember.

You can find out more about the history of Deception Island at Wikipedia.
